This winter, Rodd will be living in New York City and playing Clopin in The Argyle Theatre's production of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". Performances run from November 10th to December 30th in Babylon, Long Island! Directed by Evan Pappas, and choreographed by Debbie Roshe.
In September, Rodd will be playing Tariq Halabi in the first staged workshop of "Present Perfect" written by Jaime Lozano and Nancy Cheser. The workshop is produced by Live & In Color and directed by Devanand Janki.
Coming up in August, Rodd will be playing Professor in Rodgers & Hammerstein's "South Pacific" with the Culver City Symphony Orchestra. Directed by Zeffin Hollis and choreographed by Sylvie Gosse.
On July 19th, Rodd will be singing at the sold out "A Little New Music" concert at the Wallis Annenberg. Performing an original song by Jordan Coats & John Allen Watts.
Rodd will be playing Mark Wall in the workshop of "The Show Must Go On" in Los Angeles at the end of June 2018. Written by Nicholas Coster and Heather Reid, directed by Jesse Bush.
Rodd was just awarded the prestigious Roger Sturtevant Scholarship for 2018 by the Actor's Equity Foundation! The audition was judged by actor members of the Actors’ Equity Foundation and Casting Directors from the Casting Society of America. The award goes to one male and one female Equity Membership Candidate each year.
In May, Rodd will be originating and workshopping the new play, "Hostage", by Michelle Kholos Brooks at the Florida Repertory Theatre.
In February, Rodd performed as Victor in McCoy/Rigby Entertainment's production of Cabaret! Directed by Larry Carpenter and choreographed by Dana Solimando. Performances begin January 19th at the La Mirada Theatre!
Starting September 9th, 2017 Rodd performed at the Primetime Emmy Award Governor's Ball as well as the Creative Arts Emmy Governor's Ball!
This summer Rodd played Eddie and performed alongside the celebrities Jennifer Nettles, Dove Cameron, and Corbin Bleu in Mamma Mia at The Hollywood Bowl, directed by three time Tony winning director Kathleen Marshall.
Rodd graduated from the Ray Bolger Musical Theatre Program from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television this past June! He was a part of UCLA's Los Angeles and New York City Showcase.
